BRAKES 51 1.13.8. PARKING BRAKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT A) PARKING BRAKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT (OPTION – I) 1. Keep Parking brake lever in 0th notch and tighten the parking brake cable adjustment nut through parking adjustment cover of center console. 2. Pull Parking brake lever fully and release it for 5 times. 3. If notch position is 3 to 4 then hand brake setting is OK. 4. If notch position is above 4 then tighten the hand brake adjustment nut for getting final notch position. 5. If notch position is below 3 then loosen the nut for getting final notch position. B) PARKING BRAKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT (OPTION – II) 1. Recline the Co-Driver seat fully and adjust the position to remove “CONSOLE PARKING BRAKE COVER”.( pull towards co-driver side to dislodge the snaps) 2. Keep the parking brake lever in 0 th notch & tighten parking brake cable adjustment nut from co-driver side. 3. Pull the parking brake lever fully and release it for 5 times. 4. If noth position in 3 to 4 then Hand Brake position is OK. 5. If notch position is above 4 then Tighten the hand brake adjustment nut for getting final notch position. 6. If notch position is below 3 then loosen the nut for getting final notch.
