Turn crankshaft to bring piston to top bottom dead center. NOTE While inserting piston connecting rod assembly, ensure that crankshaft should not damage due to connecting rod assembly. 18. Assemble the connecting rod bearing caps along with bearing shells. 19. Tighten the mounting nuts holding the connecting rod bearing caps. NOTE Rotate the engine block at 1800 20. Measure piston projection above crankcase with the help of piston topping dial gauge
