Engine overheating a) Defective temperature sensor b) Defective instrument cluster c) Less coolant in the system d) Defective water pump e) Engine overloaded due to :- Brake binding Clutch slippage a) Replace the temperature sensor b) Check DTC and rectify c) Top up d) Replace the water pump e) Action to be taken 1. Adjust brake shoes 2. Locked if caliper piston is stretched replace the caliper piston 3. Replace affected parts 7 Low compression pressure a) Leakage of compression from engine valves b) Cylinder Head gasket blown between two cylinders c) Leakage of compression past piston ring butt clearance (blow by) d) Leakage of compression due to excessive cylinder bore/ring wear (indicated by excessive blow by). a) Repair valve seats/Replace valve seat inserts b) Replace gasket c) Replace piston rings d) Overhaul the engine
