BRAKES 42 5. Loosen coupling nuts and disconnect hydraulic lines attached to TMC. 6. Remove mounting fasteners of TMC and take it out. 7. Release clevis clips securing brake booster push-rod to brake pedal. 8. Remove four nuts securing brake booster to firewall. 9. Remove brake booster carefully. INSTALLATION: 1. Clean TMC and brake booster mating surfaces. Mount brake booster on firewall and tighten four nuts to specified torque (2.0 - 2.5 Kg-m) 2. Tighten clutch master cylinder bolts (For QUADRAJET) 3. Refit clevis pin. 4. Realign brake pipes into mounting bracket. 5. Connect vacuum hose to brake booster. 6. Mount TMC on booster and tighten all fasteners to specified torque (1.0 - 1.6Kgm) 7. Reconnect all hydraulic lines to TMC and tighten coupling nuts to specified torque (1.4 - 1.8Kgm). 8. Reconnect the CMC hose to reservoir. 9. Reconnect the electrical connector of brake fluid level switch. 10. Top up the recommended quantity of clutch port oil and bleed the system. 11. Reconnect battery.
