BRAKES 49 16.3. REMOVAL AND REFITMENT OF TMC & BOOSTER ASSEMBLY NOTE: Overhauling of TMC & BOOSTER ASSEMBLY is not recommended. It is recommended to replace TMC and Booster assembly separately whenever required. Removal: 1. Position vehicle on two postlift and disconnect battery. 2. Drain brake oil. 3. Remove Vacuum pump to easily access & removal of booster. 4. Disconnect the electrical connector of brake fluid level switch. 5. Disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster. 6. Loosen coupling nuts and disconnect hydraulic lines attached to TMC. 7. Remove mounting fasteners of TMC and take it out. 8. Release clevis clips securing brake booster push-rod to brake pedal.
