LV ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 27 4. WIPER & WASHER SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: The wiper system comprises two front wipers which are powered by electric motors. A washer reservoir is located in the front left hand wheel arch and is fitted with one electric pump. This pump supplies washer fluid to the front windshield glass. Operation of the front wipers and washer is controlled by BCM and the driver using switches located on a combination switch stalk. Control of the wipers and washers is achieved by the following components:  BCM  Front wiper relays ( ON/OFF & Slow/fast relays )  Front wash/wipe switch.  Variable delay switch ( part of combi-switch )  Front wiper motor assembly.  Front washer pump motor. 4.1 FRONT WIPER AND WAHSER SYSTEM LAYOUT The illustration below locates and identifies the main components in the wiper and washer system, which is operate by LH side stalk of a combi-switch.
