FATC 25 19. SOLAR LOAD SENSOR Solar load sensor is a photodiode that measures the relative solar load. It provides the output current pro- portional to solar heating. LOCATION It is fitted on front defrost grill. INSPECTION Fit the solar load sensor into its adaptor. Connect the electrical connection. Measure response at different intensity and plot graph of sensor output and intensity. The plotted graph should approximately match with following graph. CONNECTOR DETAILS PINOUT DETAILS PIN DESCRIPTION 1 Solar sensor Input to control panel 2 Analog GND REMOVAL 1. Pry out the sensor using suitable tools. 2. Disconnect the electrical connection of solar load sensor. 3. Rotate the sensor in anticlockwise direction and take it out from the holder. REFITMENT For refitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
