LV ELECTRICAL 84 REMOVAL OF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER: WARNING Remove the key from key barrel. This is necessary to ensure proper initialization of Instrument Cluster Parameters like Odometer value learning from Immobilizer and DTCs in other ECUs against Instrument Cluster. Removing Instrument Cluster with Key IN is strictly prohibited otherwise it will corrupt the odometer value. 1. Remove cluster hood gently from its position by using screw driver. 2. Remove steering wheel. Refer “Removal & refitment of steering wheel" from Steering Section. 3. Remove steering nacelle. Refer “Removal & Refitment of steering nacelle" from Steering Section. 4. Remove Instrument cluster electrical connections. 9. Remove Instrument cluster REFITMENT Follow above procedure in reverse for fitment. WARNING Swapping to analyze cluster defect: It is strictly prohibited to swap clusters for defect analysis from vehicles or from available stock. Due to immobilizer Odometer learning strategy, cluster odometer value will change permanently to a higher value. For defect analysis, use Diagnostics Tool or ETC (Engineering Test MODE).
