TRANSAXLE - TA5260 55 4. Position and tighten the assembly gear shift housing on the cab floor or sheet metal bracket. 5. Fit the selector and shift cable lock on the assembly gear shift housing. 6. Fix the selector cable and shift cable on the assembly gear shifter housing. 7. Fit the selector cable and shift cable end on select lever ball. (Ensure yellow clip in partially locked condition) 8. Press the yellow clip on the selector cable and shift cable. 9. Place the center console over the assembly and assemble it. 10. Then fix bellow and gearshift lever knob Do’s 1. Do GSL lever neutral setting after every TA related rework. 2. Before fitment do ensure smooth movement of shifter side cable end. 3. Do ensure proper length of cable as per specification. Don’ts 1. Don’t bend cables while handling.
