1.5L REVOTORQ ENGINE 68 E. THROTTLE BODY Throttle body consists of butterfly valve inside which control the inlet air flow from intercooler to intake manifold. It is controlled by engine EMS. F. SENSOR AIR TEMPERATURE T-MAP sensor consists of a silicon chip mounted inside a reference chamber. On one side of the chip is the reference chamber rand on the other side is the pressure to be measured. The electrical re- sistance of the chip varies with the variation of the pressure. This change in resistance alters the volt- age signal. ECM interprets the voltage signal as pressure and any change in voltage signal as change in pressure. The temperature sensor ele- ment is a NTC resistor.
