1.2L REVOTRON ENGINE 107 7. Loosen and remove the top mounting bolts of the CCC. 8. Remove the bottom mountings on CATCON Assembly. 9. Remove the CCC. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse procedure of removal. NOTE  Use new gaskets every time while fitment and tighten nuts and bolts to specified torque. Ensure flex bellow should not be pre stress or bend & also ensure proper orientation of rubber hangers F. FUEL SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS Before attempting any service on fuel system, following precautions should be always followed for personal safety and to avoid system damages. a) Disconnect negative cable at battery. b) Do not smoke, and place ‘NO SMOKING” sign near work area make sure to have fire extinguisher handy. c) Make sure to perform work in well ventilated area and away from any open fire/flames. d) Wear Safety glasses e) Small amount of fuel may drip after the fuel lines are disconnected. In order to reduce the risk of personal injury, cover the pipe/ hose ends with suitable plugs with no rust or contamination. f) After servicing, make sure that the fuel hoses and clamps are properly connected. g) After servicing, check for fuel leakages at fuel hose joints. h) Relieve the fuel pressure from the system before disconnecting any fuel lines especially high pressure lines. If pressure is not relieve the fuel may splash on the technician and the components which is dangerous. PRESSURE RELIEVING PROCEDURE 1. Remove the fuel filler cap to relieve the fuel vapors pressure. 2. Disconnect the fuel delivery line from the tank unit. 3. Start the engine and allow the engine to stall. 4. Turn off the ignition switch and disconnect the battery negative terminal. FUEL RAIL REMOVAL ON VEHICLE For fuel rail removal procedure refer on vehicle injector removal procedure.
