BRAKES 40 14.3. REMOVAL AND REFITMENT OF TMC & BOOSTER ASSEMBLY NOTE: Overhauling of TMC & BOOSTER ASSEMBLY is not recommended. It is recommended to replace TMC and Booster assembly separately whenever required. Removal: 1. Position vehicle on two post lift and disconnect battery. 2. Drain brake oil. 3. Disconnect the electrical connector of brake fluid level switch. 4. Disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster. 5. Loosen coupling nuts and disconnect hydraulic lines attached to TMC. 6. Remove mounting fasteners of TMC and take it out. 7. Release clevis clips securing brake booster push-rod to brake pedal. 8. Remove four nuts securing brake booster to firewall. 9. Remove brake booster carefully.
