DRIVESHAFT - DIESEL 11 10. Remove heat shield mounted on Intermediate bearing shaft Bracket. 11. Remove Intermediate bearing shaft Bracket. 12. Remove Intermediate drive shafts from Gear Box and place it suitably alongside. NOTE: Collect Gear Box oil using a suitable container. CAUTIONS  While disengaging driveshaft from gearbox take care that oil seal should not be damage.  Do not pull drive shaft excessively as the plunge joint will come out of housing and damage the boot Pry. Plunge joint housing for taking out joint out of splines.  Do not place the CV drive shaft on rough / uncleaned surfaces. This might damage the drive shaft boot. 11. RH SIDE DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY 1. Install the Drive shaft into Gear Box End. 2. Install Drive shaft into the Knuckle End. 3. Fix Intermediate bearing flange Bracket. 4. Install heat shield mounted on Intermediate bearing shaft Bracket.
