DRIVESHAFT - DIESEL 8 9. Remove Nyloc Nut mounting on LCA and Disconnect LCA (Lower Control Arm) ball joint from Knuckle. 10. Remove Drive shaft from Knuckle End and place suitably. 11. Push out the Drive shaft from Gear Box End by using a screw driver. NOTE: Collect Oil in Suitable Container. CAUTIONS  While disengaging driveshaft from gearbox take care that oil seal should not be damage.  Do not pull drive shaft excessively as the plunge joint will come out of housing and damage the boot Pry. Plunge joint housing for taking out joint out of splines.  Do not place the CV drive shaft on rough / uncleaned surfaces. This might damage the drive shaft boot. 9. LH SIDE DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY 1. Install the Drive shaft into Knuckle End. 2. Install the Drive shaft into Gear Box End. 3. Insert the LCA ball joint in knuckle & tighten the mounting fastener with torque 5.5 Kg-m.
