1.2L REVOTRON ENGINE 150 11. Fix the connecting rod shell. 12. Apply oil on piston rings, cylinder bores and bearing shells. 13. Lower piston connecting rod assembly upto piston rings into cylinder bore with arrow on piston crown pointing towards timing belt side. 14. Clamp piston ring compressor over piston rings to slide inside the cylinder bore. 15. Lower piston gradually inside cylinder bore using wooden handle or mallet till connecting rod locates on crank pin journal. Slowly rotates crankshaft simultaneously pushing piston till crank pin journal reaches BDC position. 16. Assemble the piston assembly in to the cylinder block using wooden handle of the mallet. NOTE  Ensure that the arrow mark on the piston crown is facing the front side of engine towards damper pulley side. 17. Turn crankshaft to bring piston to top bottom dead center. NOTE  While inserting piston connecting rod assembly, ensure that crankshaft should not damage due to connecting rod assembly. 18. Assemble the connecting rod bearing caps along with bearing shells. 19. Tighten the mounting nuts holding the connecting rod bearing caps. NOTE  Rotate the engine block at 180 0 20. Measure piston projection above crankcase with the help of piston topping dial gauge
