ELECTRICAL 91 TELL TALES INDICATOR REMARKS Low Fuel Indicator This symbol lights up when ignition is turned ‘ON’. The symbol lights up continuously if fuel level in the tank is low. Petrol Fuel needs to be filled immediately. It shall blink if there is any fault in the system. Take your car to the nearest Tata authorized service station. High Coolant Temperature warning This symbol lights up when the ignition is turned ‘ON’ and goes ‘OFF’ in approx. 4 sec. If the engine is overheating, this indicator blinks along with an audible buzzer At this stage, take the car to the nearest authorized Service outlet. This symbol blinks and audible buzzer sounds simultaneously when engine coolant temperature is more than normal. When engine coolant temp increases to hazardous level, telltale shall blink with RED color and it is accompanied by audio warning. WARNING: Never remove the radiator pressure cap from the radiator when the engine is hot. Do not restart the engine until the problem has been duly attended. Water in fuel Indicator This symbol indicates excess water accumulation in the sedimenter. It turn ‘ON’ when Ignition is switched ‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ in approx. 4 seconds. When this lamp remains ‘ON’, water needs to be drained from sedimenter immediately. This symbol also turns ON when Fuel Filter Clogging warning is activated (if applicable). NOTE: This telltale is applicable only for Diesel engine ABS Indicator When Ignition is turned ‘ON’, this symbol comes ‘ON’ for 3 seconds and goes ‘OFF’. This symbol continue to remain 'ON' after ignition ON if there is a problem in the ABS system. Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. Airbag Indicator The air bag warning symbol comes on for approximately 4 seconds when the ignition is turned ‘ON’ and goes ‘OFF’. WARNING: If it remains ‘ON’ or blinks, Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. Driver Seat belt Indicator If Driver seat belt is not buckled and IGN is ON then Telltale will be ON as initial warning with No audio chime. If Driver seat belt remains unbuckled and vehicle speed goes above 15 km/ hr, driver Seat belt telltale will also start flashing along with audio alarm during Final Warning. Note: Buckle the Driver seat belt to stop Audible warning and telltale OFF. Co-Driver Seat belt Indicator (passenger) If Co-Driver (Passenger) is present and its seat belt is not buckled and IGN is ON then Telltale will be ON as initial warning with No audio chime. If Co-Driver (Passenger) seat belt remains unbuckled and vehicle speed goes above 15 km/ hr, Then Co-Driver (Passenger) Seat belt telltale will also start flashing along with audio alarm during Final
