SUSPENSION 30 9.4 . OVERHAULING OF KNUCKLE AND WHEEL HUB SUB ASSEMBLY: Clean all the parts thoroughly and replace damage / worn out parts. 1. With the help of drift part No. 2779 5890 3301 and 2640 5890 3511 fit bearing in the knuckle. NOTE: While assembling front Hub bearing magnetic tape should be at inboard side. PRECAUTION: Use a new hub bearing and new circlip no oiling of bearing housing in knuckle carrier and hub, it should be free from dust and oil before pressing bearing into knuckle hub. Old bearing & circlip even if serviceable cannot be reused. 2. Fit the circlip. 3. Place the knuckle assembly over the hub. Using drift part No. 2576 5890 4401 press the knuckle assembly on the hub. NOTE:  Ensure mounting surfaces of bearing on steering knuckle and hub should be free from dust, rust, foreign particles, oil and grease etc prior to assembly.  Handle bearing with clean, dry hands and never use hand glove while assembling.  Never hammer the bearing while assembly and removal.  No damages to bearing is permitted.  During pressing the bearing into knuckle, ensure marking to be at inboard Side of vehicle.
