TRANSAXLE - TA65 Star 27 10. Remove 5 th gear spiral pin, on shifter fork. 11. Engage any gear using selector/shifter mechanism. 12. Unstake and unscrew the locknut on lay shaft. 13. Remove lock-plate (5th speed gear). 14. Remove engaging gear (5th speed) along with sleeve and fork taking care that carrier assembly does not slip off. 15. Remove the 5th gear and engaging gear along with the synchrocone. Do not allow the carrier assembly to slip off the lay shaft. 16. Remove needle bush 1 and bearing 2. 17. Remove spacer (lay shaft). 18. Unstack, unlock and remove the locknut on Input shaft.
