BODY 9 4. ON VEHICLE REMOVALs 4.1. BONNET REMOVAL 1. Open the bonnet. 2. Remove the Pipe connection from windshield washer nozzle. 3. Pry out the Hood trim from bonnet. 4. Loosen and remove 4 mounting bolts (2 in LH and 2 in RH side). 5. Lift and remove the Bonnet. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse procedure of the removal.  HOOD LATCH ASSEMBLY REMOVAL 1. Remove the 2 Nos. of Mounting screws. 2. Pull out the Latch assembly from Radiator support member. 3. Remove the cable cover in the groove. 4. Pull out the cable from the hook and remove the latch assembly. FITMENT 1. Insert the cable in the hook. 2. Also insert the cable cover in the groove. 3. Fix the latch assembly on Radiator support member. 4. Tighten the 2 mounting screws to specified torque 5. Operate the bonnet opening lever from inside and ensure that the bonnet pops up properly, if not loosen the mounting bolts and move the lock in the oval slots provided in the mounting holes, so that it opens properly. 6. Apply the recommended grease to the sliding plates and cable.
