FATC 11 B. ECON MODE During ECON AC operation, the systemautomatically cuts off compressor at a higher temperature than normal AC. The operation can be used during mild weather conditions for better fuel efficiency. Comfort level may be compromised during this operation. By pressing ECON button text will be displayed on display. C. MAX DEFROST BUTTON a. This button directs the main airflow towards windscreen for faster defrosting (It also overrides any mode selection you may have made.) b. When you turn off the button, the system returns to its former settings CAUTION For your safety make sure you have a clear view through all the windows before driving. D. REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER/DEMISTER This button turns the rear window demister ON or OFF. The system automatically deactivates after 15 min of continuous operation. E. FRESH AIR / RECIRCULATION BUTTON A. When the recirculation Button or LED is switched ‘ON’, air from the vehicle’s interior is sent throughout the system. B. When the recirculation button is switched off, air is brought in from outside of the vehicle (fresh mode). Whenever discomfort is felt, switch to fresh air mode. NOTE 1. The outside air intakes for the climate control system are at the base of windscreen. Keep this area clear from leaves and other debris. 2. The system should be used with recirculation air mode for faster heat up and cool down, however keeping the system in recirculation mode, particularly with AC OFF, can cause the windows fog up. CAUTION It is recommend running the vehicle in re circulation mode to avoid clogging of air filter. F. AIR DISTRIBUTION (MODE) BUTTON In AUTO mode, the FATC system will regulate the mode automatically. However, user override is possible with the use of MODE button to select the desired airflowmode. Each time you press the MODE button, the display shows the mode selected.
