LV ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 54 REMOVAL 1. Gently pry out the drive mode switch. 2. Disconnect the electrical connection. REFITMENT For refitment follow the removal procedure in reverse. I . STEERING LOCK CUM IGNITION SWITCH FUNCTION To lock the steering wheel To start & stop the engine To switch on accessories and other electrical system LOCATION It is fitted on steering column below the steering wheel and combi switch. REMOVAL & REFITMENT OF STEERING LOCK CUM IGNITION SWITCH (SLCIS): REMOVAL: 1. Disconnect battery negative terminal. 2. Remove steering nacelle. Refer “Removal & refitment of steering nacelle" from steering section. 3. Remove steering wheel. Refer “Removal & refitment of steering wheel" from steering section. 4. Remove combi switch. Refer “Removal & Refitment of combi switch."
