TIGOR EV

HV ELECTRICAL 9 F. TYPES OF CHARGING Car requires charging of battery power pack once energy stored in it gets depleted. There are two methods of charging battery. 1. Normal charging 2. Fast Charging Normal charging (AC charging): Normal charging Port is located on front bumper grill. It usually takes 9 Hrs. (XE, XM, XT) & 11:30 Hrs. (XE+, XM+, XT+) to charge completely when the batteries are discharged. However, charging time can vary depend on battery and ambient temperature. This change in time is always indicated on the cluster in TTC (Time to Charge). The charging gun will be locked after switching on the DC supply. Fast charging (DC charging): Charge Port is located on the rear left side of the car [Fuel Bowl]. Charge flap opening lever is located on the right hand side of the driver side. Tigor EV can be fast charged using any fast charging station or equipment compliant to GB/T standard having GB/T charging gun. Time to charge the battery pack varies based on the state of charge, ambient & battery temperature. Hence charging time specified is an estimate and may vary. To charge the battery quickly in 90 minute (XE, XM, XT) & 125 minute (XE+, XM+, XT+). The charging gun will be locked after switching on the DC supply. It is recommended to use the fast charging only in emergency and not always. NOTE:  Battery performance and durability can deteriorate if the fast charger is used constantly. Use of Fast Charging should be minimized in order to help prolong high voltage battery life.  After a maximum of four fast charging cycles of battery pack, it is recommended to use Normal Charging to achieve 100% State of Charge for optimum performance of high voltage battery pack.
