P0835-15: Clutch Pedal Switch “B” Circuit Low– Circuit Short to Battery or Open Overview: ISO Code P0835-15 Customer Symptom No Reaction Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No Reaction Lamp Status (If Any) CE Lamp ON after 1 drive cycle Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged only when Vehicle is driven in different gears and EMS ECU finds Dual Clutch’s Extended travel Input(Pin 119) shorted to always give Low signal. Normal Operating Condition Appropriate signal from Extended Travel Input pin 119 Probable Trouble Area Wiring harness Connections between Clutch Switches and EMS ECU, Improper Clutch Switch Setting Healing Condition After 1 Drive cycles Fault present deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow.3. 40 warm up cycles.4. ECU Flashing.5. ECU Power-Fail Component Details: Clutch switches are normally closed switches, which are assembled on the Clutch pedal and get Opened when the clutch pedal is pressed. Clutch Switches are set in such a way that one switch will get closed at 10% pedal press and other switch will get closed at 90% pedal press. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between Clutch Switch pins and EMS ECU. 2) Check for back out of pins at ECU connector. 3) Check for damage of pins at ECU connector. 4) Check for damage of Clutch switch connector.
