P060C-2: Internal Control Module Main Processor Performance – General Signal Failure Overview: ISO Code P060C-2 Customer Symptom Vehicle would not start Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ECU Software reset happens Lamp Status (If Any) SIL ON after 1 driving cycle Fault Detection Condition ECU internal failure Normal Operating Condition ECU Functions as per design intention Probable Trouble Area EMS ECU Healing Condition After 1 drive cycles Fault permanent deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU Flashing. 5. ECU Power-Fail Component Details: EMS ECU is an electronic controller which controls the Engine functionality by interfacing with various sensors, actuators and other controllers (via CAN) Preliminary Checks: 1. Check whether the EMS is receiving Battery supply and Ground 2. Check whether the Battery is healthy Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check whether the EMS ECU is receiving supply and Ground Go to step 2 Rectify wiring harness connections as per schematic 2. Check whether the battery is healthy Go to step 3 Repair Battery 3 If fault still persists Replace EMS ECU Repeat above procedure for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. Replace EMS ECU and check whether the fault is rectified or not.
