P0351-12: Ignition Coil “A” Primary Control Circuit High– Circuit Short to Battery Overview: ISO Code P0351-12 Customer Symptom 1. Engine shuts off and can be only started after Ignition switch resetting or coil has cooled down. 2. Misfires may happen Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Lamp Status (If Any) MIL ON after 1 drive cycle Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged when the Ignition coil A control pin of EMS ECU is short Circuited to battery supply Normal Operating Condition Healthy wiring harness connections between Ignition Coil A and EMS ECU Probable Trouble Area Wiring Harness connections, Ignition coil A Healing Condition After 3 driving cycle Fault permanent deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow.
