SRS / Airbag ECU AB12 DTC Troubleshooting Guide Version: 2.0 Date: 21-June-2021 B1034-55:- Driver Seat Belt Anchor Pretensioner Deployment Control not configured Overview:- ISO Code B1034-55 Customer Symptom SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No effect Lamp Status (If Any) SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster Fault Detection Condition Driver Seatbelt Anchor Pretensioner Deployment Device is not configured in EOL, but physically present in the vehicle Normal Operating Condition Driver Seatbelt Anchor Pretensioner configuration & physical presence in the vehicle should be as per the VC. Probable Trouble Area Related wiring Harness, connector or terminals Driver Seatbelt Anchor Pretensioner System Configuration Airbag ECU Healing Condition Correct System configuration should be written to Airbag ECU as per VC. Driver Seatbelt Anchor Pretensioner physical presence should be as per VC. Component Details:- (Refer Annexure 2 for Mounting Location of AB12 Airbag ECU) Driver Seatbelt Anchor Pretensioner Module: - Driver Seatbelt Anchor Pretensioners are usually attached to the outboard side of the front seat (or) they may be attached to the floor, next to the outboard side of the front seat. Airbag ECU : - It is fitted in the floor of central console in the car. The Airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) controls the deployment system to allow an appropriate igniting of the Airbags and belt pre-tensioners to restrain the driver and passengers. Preliminary Checks:- 1. Check Battery Voltage (12 V & above) 2. Check for any faults in Airbag Warning Lamp indication in Instrument Cluster. 3. Ensure the proper locking of Airbag ECU wiring harness connectors in the vehicle by the locking sound. Troubleshooting:-
