SRS / Airbag ECU AB12 DTC Troubleshooting Guide Version: 2.0 Date: 21-June-2021 B100D-55:- Right Side Peripheral sensor not configured Overview:- ISO Code B100D-55 Customer Symptom SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No Effect Lamp Status (If Any) SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster Fault Detection Condition Right Side Peripheral sensor Deployment Device is not configured in EOL, but physically present in the vehicle Normal Operating Condition Right Side Peripheral sensor configuration & physical presence in the vehicle should be as per the VC. Probable Trouble Area Related wiring Harness, connector or terminals Right Side Peripheral sensor Device System Configuration Airbag ECU Healing Condition Correct System configuration should be written to Airbag ECU as per VC. Right Side Peripheral sensor physical presence should be as per VC. Component Details:- (Refer Annexure 2 for Mounting Location of AB12 Airbag ECU) Right Side peripheral Sensor : - These sensors are mounted on Right Side “B” pillar at the bottom end. Airbag ECU : - It is fitted in the floor of central console in the car. The Airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) controls the deployment system to allow an appropriate igniting of the Airbags and belt pre-tensioners to restrain the Driver and passengers. Preliminary Checks:- 1. Check Battery Voltage (12 V & above) 2. Check for any faults in Airbag Warning Lamp indication in Instrument Cluster. 3. Ensure the proper locking of Airbag ECU wiring harness connectors in the vehicle by the locking sound.
