SRS / Airbag ECU AB12 DTC Troubleshooting Guide Version: 2.0 Date: 21-June-2021 DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, ensure the following points using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. 1. Clear the DTC’s & make sure no DTC’s are present for Airbag system 2. Check whether any new DTC’s are getting qualified for repeated cranking. 3. Ensure the Airbag Warning Lamp Indication is continuously ON in Instrument Cluster for 3 seconds after Ignition ON 4. Ensure the Airbag Warning Lamp Indication goes OFF after 3 seconds from Ignition ON. TURN ON IGNITION. CONNECT THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL AND CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? CLEAR DTC IS DTC STILL PRESENT ? 1. TURN OFF IGN, REMOVE DSP SENSOR CONNECTOR FROM VEHICLE W/H. 2. TURN ON IGNITION . CLEAR DTC’s & CHECK FOR DTC’s. IS DTC B 1 00 C - 1 2 PRESENT? REPLACE THE DSP SENSO YES NO NO YES NO YES TURN OFF & ON THE IGNITION & CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? NO CHECK WHETHER THE VOLTAGE A T O UT P UT PINS OF W/H W.R.T VEHICLE GROUND IS IN THE RANGE OF 10 TO 12 V STOP RE - CONNECT THE ECU, DSP SENSOR & W/H MODULE IN THE VEHICLE NO YES REPLACE THE DSP SENSOR IS VOLTAGE IS IN 10 T0 12 V? REPLACE AIRBA G ECU WITH A NEW ONE. YES YES NO 1. TURN OFF IGN. REPLACE AIRBAG W/H. 2. CONNECT THE AIRBAG ECU, W/H & DSP IN VEHICLE. 3. TURN ON IGNITION. CLEAR DTC’s & CHECK FOR DTC’s. IS DTC B 1 00 C - 12 PRESENT? START B 1 0 0 C 1 2 C321B-1& C321B-2
