B1656 - 00:- Immobilization Request from Telematics - no sub type information Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B1656 – 00 Customer Symptom Next Engine cycle will not happen due to immo authentication fail Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Vehicle will not start. 2. Vehicle locking/unlocking may work. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition During power transition OFF/ACC/IGN/Crank/Run Normal Operating Condition At OFF/ACC/IGN/Crank/Run, PEPS ECU shall initiate Immo authentication with VCU/EMS & this DTC should not be logged. Probable Trouble Area PEPS ECU receives Immobilization request from TM (Telematics) ECU. Healing Condition To fix the immo authentication between PEPS and VCU/EMS, PEPS ECU need to receive mobilization request from TM ECU. Note: Please contact to Tata Motors customer support center.
