B131D – 12:- Hardwired wakeup output to BCM – Short to Battery Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B131D - 12 Customer Symptom 2. If vehicle is in sleep mode (i.e. all loads are OFF for more than 2 min) than Passive entry/exit will not work. 3. If vehicle is ideal than UID button commands lock, unlock, approach, tailgate, window-up, window-down & vehicle seek functions will not work. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 2. Permanent short circuit to battery of hardwired wakeup output to BCM signal. 5. Wire cut & shorting to battery of Connector-2 / Pin-11 signal. 6. Bending of pin-11 of connector-2 and shorting to adjacent pin. Normal Operating Condition 3. Vehicle battery voltage shall be normal. 4. No fault on hardwired wakeup output to BCM should be present. Probable Trouble Area 4. Permanent short circuit to battery of hardwired wakeup output to BCM. 5. Wire cut & shorting to battery of Connector-2 / Pin-11 signal with vehicle body. 6. Bending of pin-11 of connector-2 and shorting to battery pin. Healing Condition 2. After fixing short to battery fault on hardwired wakeup output to BCM turn off all load and wait for 2min for PEPS to go into sleep mode, Passive entry/exit should work along with all UID button functions. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending or damage.
