B1322 – 12:- Hardwired wakeup input – Short to Battery Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B1322 - 12 Customer Symptom 1. If vehicle is in sleep mode (i.e. all loads are OFF for more than 2 min) than ESCL locking will not work by door transition i.e. open-close or close-open. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. If vehicle is in sleep mode (i.e. all loads are OFF for more than 2 min) than ESCL locking will not work by door transition i.e. open-close or close-open. Lamp Status (If Any) N.A. Fault Detection Condition 1. Permanent short circuit to battery of hardwired wakeup input from BCM signal. 2. Wire cut & shorting to battery of Connector-2 / Pin-11 signal. 3. Bending of pin-12 of connector-2 and shorting to adjacent pin. Normal Operating Condition 1. Vehicle battery voltage shall be normal. 2. No fault on hardwired wakeup input from BCM should be present. Probable Trouble Area 1. Permanent short circuit to battery of hardwired wakeup output from BCM. 2. Wire cut & shorting to battery of Connector-2 / Pin-12 signal with vehicle body. 3. Bending of pin-12 of connector-2 and shorting to battery pin. Healing Condition 1. After fixing short to battery fault on hardwired wakeup output from BCM give Ignition cycle and stop on OFF clamp state and wait for 2min for PEPS to go into sleep mode, do the door transition to lock the ESCL. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending or damage.
