B164F–04:- LF Functionality – System Internal Failures Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B164F-04 Customer Symptom Passive entry & passive start is not working Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Passive entry & passive start won’t work And 2. “NoKeyDetectionTelltale” is present in instrument cluster even if UID is present. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition On pressing the start-stop switch or pressing the door handle switch or on last door close, if PEPS detects the internal failure then PEPS logs this DTC. Normal Operating Condition 1. Passive entry works properly And 2. Passive start works properly And 3. No “NoKeyDetectionTelltale” is present in instrument cluster with UID is present inside the vehicle. Probable Trouble Area PEPS ECU Healing Condition Ignition Transition:- IGN OFF  IGN ON  IGN OFF On IGN ON during UID authentication no DTC is logged by PEPS. Table31:- B164F - 04 overview details Component Details:- PEPS ECU Preliminary Checks:- NA Troubleshooting:- Replace PEPS ECU. Follow the ECU replacement procedure without skipping any step. DTC’s confirmation:- After replacement, on IGN ON ensure no active DTC “B164F-04” is present in PEPS ECU fault memory. Circuit Schematic Diagram:- NA
