Clear the DTC, make the IGN OFF, wait for 20 seconds and inspect the steps mentioned in the “Inspection Methods” Is inspection method OK? Stop YES YES Read & confirm PEPS ECU AES-SK key Read & confirm EMS ECU AES-SK key Are both the ECU AES keys are same? Make both the keys to same value Clear the DTC, make the IGN OFF, wait for 20 seconds and inspect the steps mentioned in the “Inspection Methods” NO Is inspection method OK? Clear the particular DTC Stop YES NO Replace the PEPS ECU. Follow the defined replacement procedure. Stop YES Still problem persist i.e. DTC is appearing? NO Please contact EMS ECU owners. Stop YES Is DTC persist? YES NO
