B164A - 14:- IGN Relay Feedback - circuit short to ground or open Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B164A – 14 Customer Symptom 1. Vehicle will not start. 2. Green color led will not appear of engine start/stop button during ignition cycle. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Vehicle will not start. 2. Green color led will not appear of engine start/stop button during ignition cycle. Lamp Status (If Any) 1. Immo telltale will always keep on blinking and will never turn-off or steady ON. Fault Detection Condition During IGN ON or cranking the vehicle. Normal Operating Condition During IGN cycle, LED color should change in sequence of LED OFF - Amber ON – Green ON – LED OFF with every press of the Engine start/stop button Probable Trouble Area 1. Permanent short of output of ignition relay. 2. Ignition relay feedback line between PEPS ecu pin-19 and vehicle ground signal. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
