U0140-08:- Lost communication with Body Control Module- Message Timeout Failure Overview:- ISO Code U0140-08 Customer Symptom BCM functionality such as Hazard, Door indication, Lamp indication, etc. does not work Fault Effects (On Vehicle) BCM functionality such as Hazard, Door indication, Lamp indication, etc. does not work Lamp Status (If Any) N.A Fault Detection Condition 1. BCM connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location. 2. CAN Stub wire from IPC connector side is disconnected. 3. BCM ECU is not powered up. Normal Operating Condition BCM ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area Disconnection of the BCM connector Healing Condition To fix the BCM connector correctly and Fix the wiring harness issues from IPC side. Trouble Shooting:-
