P0201-13: Injector 1 Open Circuit– Circuit Open Overview: ISO Code P0201-13 Customer Symptom Vehicle Acceleration poor, Idle not stable, Poor Startability, Lambda control deactivated, Engine might Stall. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Vehicle acceleration is poor. 2. Idle is not stable. 3. Lambda control is not active. 4. Poor startability. Lamp Status (If Any) MIL ON after 1 drive cycle Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged if the ignition state is ON and Injector of cylinder 1 control pin is Open Circuited. Normal Operating Condition Proper Wiring Harness connections between Injector of cylinder 1 and EMS ECU. Probable Trouble Area Wiring Harness Connections Healing Condition Ignition ON and after 3 driving Cycles Fault present deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU Flashing. 5. ECU Power-Fail Component Details: Injectors are normally closed valve. Injector Opens when its electromagnetic coil is energized by the EMS ECU. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between injector and EMS ECU. 2) Check for back out of pins at both Injector connector and ECU connector. 3) Check for damage of pins at both injector connector and ECU connector. 4) Check the continuity from injector connector pins to the ECU pins.
