U1012 - 11: Wake up on Entry Signal - Circui t Short to Ground START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification . Is DTC U1012 – 11 logged by Routine? Disconnect veh iclebattery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check connection between BCMand Other Doors switch Are connectors loose? Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) 1.RemoveBCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged Is connector faulty? STOP 1. Close all doors 2. Check continuity between BCM connector p in [C4-9] Harness side) with Ground [C1-34/C1-47] Continu ity Found? 1. RemoveWake up on Entry Signal mating connector 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged etc. Reconnect connectors f irmly Connector Faulty? Correct Connector fault (Terminal Bend) NO YES YES NO YES YES YES NO NO NO Check if Wake up on Entry Signal input [wiring harness side] [C4-9] are shorted to ground. Check the switch inputs one at a time. Correct Wakeup on Entry Signal side wiring harness (Short to Ground) 1. Close and Open the Bonnet 2. Check if Wakeup on Entry Signal is operating? Continu ity Found? Reconnect all connectors f irmly YES Correct BCMside wiring harness ( Short to Ground) Continu ity Found? YES NO NO Connect battery and other connectors of BCM ECU, if disconnected. BCMECU Faulty Rep laceBCM ECU
