B1651 – 05 : Partial Transponder Key Pairing Done – System Programming Failures Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1651 - 05 Customer Symptom No effect. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Engine will not start. Lamp Status (If Any) None. Fault Detection Condition SET: At every IGN ON as well as after transponder key pairing, BCM shall check the transponder key pairing status. If number of transponder key paired >=1 but < number of transponder keys to be paired, this DTC shall be set. RESET: At every IGN ON as well as after transponder key pairing, BCM shall check transponder key pairing status. If number of transponder keys paired equal to number of transponder keys to be paired, this DTC shall be reset. Normal Operating Condition BCM started the authentication of transponder via LBIBS then BCM should pair key with total number of keys need to pair,. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Harness wires shorted. 3. BCM ECU fault. 4. No any transponder key is paired. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON. 2. Clear DTC Command. Component Details: BCM connector. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
