B1654 –12 : Immobilizer Control Module Status indicator – Circuit short to Battery Overview: ISO Code B1654 – 12 Customer Symptom Immo LED will be Non Functional. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Immo LED will be Non Functional. Lamp Status (If Any) Immo LED will be ON. Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when IMMO LED output line is shorted to Battery. Normal Operating Condition IMMO LED will be functional properly. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector wired wrong 2. Harness wire shorted 3. Components damaged Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: NA Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
