U1628 – 01 : Lost Communication with Base station Antenna – General Electrical Failure Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) U1628 - 01 Customer Symptom No effect. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. No communication between BCM and Transponder key 2. No BCM_IMMo funcationality 3. Engine will not start. Lamp Status (If Any) Functional telltale used for fault indication. Fault Detection Condition No antenna connected (general electrical failure). Normal Operating Condition Antenna should be connected properly and working. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Harness wires shorted. 3. BCM ECU fault. 4. Base station damege. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON. 2. Clear DTC Command. Component Details: BCM connector. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
