Airbag Crash Signal DTCs B1000 – 14: Airbag Crash Signal – circuit short to ground or open Overview: ISO Code B1000 – 14 Customer Symptom BCM may not give crash response, doors may stay locked and hazard lamps may not flash Fault Effects (On Vehicle) User will not be able to operate Door open due to lock condition. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault, when Airbag Crash Signal is short to ground. BCM connector wired wrong, harness wire shorted, switch damaged or stuck Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON/Run, vehicle is locked, when Airbag Crash Signal is short to ground. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Airbag Crash Signal is short to ground. 3. 3. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Switch Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
