B225E – 11: Left Reverse Lamp Circuit – Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code B225E - 11 Customer Symptom 1 Left Reverse Lamps always OFF. 2 Reverse lamp malfunction message on Instrument Cluster. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Left Reverse Lamps always OFF. Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault when left Reverse lamp output is short to ground. Normal Operating Condition Reverse lamp comes ON when reverse gear is engaged. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Left reverse lamp output wire Short to ground 3. Lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Left reverse lamp mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Left Reverse lamps are located at left rear side of vehicle. Reverse lamp comes ON when reverse gear is engaged. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
