B2215 – 1C : Front Wiper Variable Speed Switch voltage out of range Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B2215-1C Customer Symptom User will not get variable speed functionality when wiper is kept at INT position. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Wiper wipes with 9 sec delay irrespective of the delay position selected. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition DTC is logged during input switch test routine. Normal Operating Condition No DTC logged during the input switch test routine. Probable Trouble Area 1. Combi Switch damaged 2. Wiring harness short to GND/ OPEN 3. BCM fault 4. BCM connector fault Healing Condition 1. Run the input switch test routine and read th DTC. The DTC B2215-1C shall not be logged. Component Details: Front wiper variable speed switch (part of combi switch) is used to set the delay of wiping speed when kept at INT position. It provides different voltage level values depending on the switch position. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
