B223A- 11: Rear Washer Pump Short to GND Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B223A- 11 Customer Symptom When user request Rear Wash ON, Rear Washer motor doesn’t operate Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Rear Wash motor always OFF Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged only when Rear Wash switch is requested and BCM output is short to GND. Normal Operating Condition IGN ON and No DTC logged when Rear wash operated Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Rear harness Short to Ground. 3. Motor fault. 4. ECU fault. Healing Condition 1. Switch request after fault removal 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged Component Details: BCM directly provides +12 V to rear wash motor to switch ON the motor when switch is requested. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
