B220B- 15: Front Washer Pump Short to Batt/ Open Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B220B- 15 Customer Symptom Front Wash motor is always ON even though user not request through switch Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Front Wash motor always ON can cause motor burning. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged with IGN ON. Normal Operating Condition IGN ON and No DTC logged when front wash operated Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Front harness Short to Ground. 3. Front wash Motor fault. 4. ECU fault. Healing Condition 1. Switch request after fault removal 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged Component Details: BCM directly provides +12 V to wash motor to switch ON the motor when switch is requested. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
