B220B- 11: Front Washer Pump Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B220B- 11 Customer Symptom When user request Front Wash ON, Washer motor doesn’t operate Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Front Wash motor always OFF Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged only when Front Wash switch is requested and BCM output is short to GND. Normal Operating Condition IGN ON and No DTC logged when front wash operated Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Front harness Short to Ground. 3. Motor fault. 4. ECU fault. Healing Condition 1. Switch request after fault removal 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged Component Details: BCM directly provides +12 V to Front wash motor to switch ON the motor when switch is requested. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
