B223B – 23: Rear Washer Switch – Signal Stuck Low Overview: ISO Code B223B - 23 Customer Symptom Rear Washer pump does not operate. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Rear Washer Pump will not come ON Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM; if signal stuck low condition is detected for Rear washer switch. Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON then Rear wash pump shall turn ON immediately after pressing the Rear washer switch. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Cockpit Rear washer switch input wire Short to ground 3. Switch damaged or stuck 4. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Operate Rear washer switch from Off  On  Off 3. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Rear Washer switch is part of Combi switch. If the IGN is ON and user presses the Rear washer switch, Rear washer pump will turn ON. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
