START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routineand operate the switches as ment ioned in the input switch test routine specification. Is DTC B223B - 12 logged byRoutine? Disconnectvehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and combi switch connectors forterminal backout Are connectors loose? 1.Remove BCMConnector. 2.Perform visua l check of connectors for pins bentor damaged etc. Is connector faulty? 1.Put combi switch in OFF state. 2.Check continuity between BCMconnector pin [C1-12] with battery [C3-2/ C3-1] Continuity Found? 1.Remove Combi Switch mat ing connector 2. Check continuity between BCMharness sideconnector pin [C1-12] and Rear Washer contact at combi switch [pin details TBD]. Perform thevisual checkof connectors for pin bend or damaged etc. Is connector faulty? Check continuity at combi switchRear washer contact[ pin details TBD] with ground [ pin details TBD] Continuity found? BCMECU Faulty STOP YES NO YES NO Reconnect connectors firmly Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) YES NO Correct BCMSide wir ingharness (Short to Battery) NO YES Correct connector fault (Terminal Bend) Correct connector fault at combi switch mat ingconnector (Open Circuit) YES NO YES NO Replace BCMECU 1. Connect combi switch mating connector 2. Put combi switch at Rear washer switch contact 3. check continutybetween combi switch Rear washer switch contact[ pin detai ls TBD] with ground[ pin details TBD] Continuity found?
