B2232 – 23: Mirror Fold/Unfold Switch – Signal Stuck Low Overview: ISO Code B2232 - 23 Customer Symptom Mirror Fold/Unfold does not operate. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Mirror Fold/Unfold will not work. Lamp Status (If Any) N/A. Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM; if signal stuck low condition is detected for Mirror Fold/Unfold switch. Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON then Mirror Fold/Unfold shall turn ON immediately after pressing the Mirror Fold/Unfold switch. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Mirror Fold/Unfold switch input wire Short to ground from cockpit wiring harness 3. Switch damaged or stuck 4. Mirror Fold/Unfold Switch connector fault. 5. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Mirror Fold/Unfold switch is part of Mirror Fold/Unfold switch bank. If the IGN is ON and user presses the Mirror Fold/Unfold switch, Mirror Fold/Unfold will turn. Preliminary Checks: 3. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 4. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
