B1F14 – 11: Ambient Roof Lights – Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1F14 - 11 Customer Symptom N/A. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Spot LEDs lamps do not come ON. Lamp Status (If Any) Ambient Foot well Lights permanently off till the fault persists. Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Ambient Foot well Lights output is shorted to ground. Normal Operating Condition Ambient Foot well Lights should turn ON whenever door is open. Probable Trouble Area 4. BCM connector wired wrong 5. Ambient Foot well Lights harness wire shorted to ground. 6. Ambient Foot well Lights Node/components damaged. Healing Condition 3. Ignition OFF  ON 4. Clear DTC Command Component Details: User turns ON Ambient Foot well Lights, while door is open. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
